Testing Foundations for Developers

A4Q publishes in cooperation with the German Testing Board e.V. the syllabus for the new certification scheme “A4Q Testing Foundations for Developers”. The new certification makes the contents of the ISTQB® scheme even more accessible for developers and focuses on the parts that are relevant for the developer (ISTQB® is the world’s leading recognized certification scheme for software testing).

All known basic testing procedures are explained in the syllabus and the context and applicability of these procedures are explained. A major focus is placed on static testing, the review process, and static analysis. White box and black box test procedures relevant to role developers are also covered.

The A4Q TF4D certification exam will be available soon. The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. To pass the exam, a candidate must score at least 65% (26 points).

The new A4Q -TF4D scheme is available in English and German.
