Founding member of the GTB
Tilo Linz is board member and co-founder of imbus AG, a leading solution provider for software testing, and has been active in the field of software quality and software testing for more than 25 years. He started the German Testing Board in 2002 (since 2005 registered as non-profit association ‘German Testing Board e. V.’), which he led as Chairman until 2013. Together with test specialists in Europe, he also initiated the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®), which was founded in 2002 in Edinburgh with him as the first ISTQB® Chairman. Tilo is also an author of several books on software testing, some of which are in the meantime regarded as standard (e.g. ‘Software Testing Foundations’). His latest book is „Testing in Scrum“.
