Ralf Bongard

For more than 15 years, Ralf Bongard has been assisting well-known companies – as a consultant, coach and trainer. His focus is on requirements engineering, test management and the training of expert trainers.

In many of the professional seminars offered on the market, he often found the didactic quality lacking. Thus, he founded ISARTAL akademie GmbH in 2012 with the aim of offering certification seminars with high didactic quality. In the meantime, he has incorporated the experience he has gained in the process into his own certification training for specialist trainers. His seminar portfolio covers certification seminars for ISTQB® Certified Tester and IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering as well as the training for Certified Professional Trainer.

Ralf Bongard has been involved in the German Testing Board for years as head of the working groups “Train the Trainer” and “ISTQB® Certified Automotive Software Tester”. Here he would like to contribute to the ISTQB® Certified Tester scheme becoming established also in the classical engineering environment and to the scheme standing for a high professional and didactic quality.

As a co-author and reviewer, he is actively involved in the development and quality assurance of the ISTQB® syllabi. In addition, his first reference book “Basiswissen Automotive Softwaretest – Aus- und Weiterbildung zum ISTQB® Foundation Level Specialist – Certified Automotive Tester” was published in 2020, which he wrote together with Dr. Klaudia Dussa-Zieger, Ralf Reißing and Alexander Schulz.
