Maud Schlich

The main focal points of her activities are the coaching of test managers and test teams, the sustained introduction of software reviews and improvement of processes in test management. In e-Learnings, workshops and in personal coaching at customer sites, she has been teaching practically oriented knowledge based on recognized standards for more than 20 years.

Maud Schlich (THE QUALITEERS) is Certified Tester Full Advanced Level and since 2007 has been a member of the German Testing Board of the ISTQB®, where she was actively involved in the syllabi for Certified Tester Advanced Level and Certified Tester Expert Level “Improving the Test Process”. She also leads the Train-the-Trainer working group whose aims at providing support to training providers with regard to an optimum interpretation of the syllabi and an adult style of teaching the contents in training courses.

After her studies at the Chair for Computer Sciences at Kaiserslautern, Maud Schlich started her professional career in 1991 as a trainee at the Corning Keramik GmbH & Co. KG as system programmer and trainer. In 1996, she changed to quality assurance expert at the consultancy “systema”. From 1998 to 2004, she was scientific assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern. In 2000, she took on the general management of the branch office of the IESE in Kaiserslautern and the management of the Software Technologie Initiative (STI) e.V. In 2004, she was responsible for R&D at the PFAFF Industrie Maschinen GmbH. Since 2004, Maud Schlich she has been a self-employed consultant and trainer for her company THE QUALITEERS
