The agenda of the meeting included as top subjects the new election of the executive board, admission of a new member, amendments of the statutes, as well as the installation of a new working party. The GTB members elected the chairman of the board as well as the first and second deputies, whereby the latter position was newly established by an amendment of the statutes.  Elected as chairman was once again Tilo Linz, previous chairman and GTB founding member. As his first deputy, Horst Pohlmann was reconfirmed in his office. The election for the newly created position of second deputy fell on Dr. Armin Metzger, also a GTB founding member.

Through resolution of the general meeting, Dr. Simon Frank, Head of the Research Department at SQS AG, was admitted as a new member as of 1st July 2011.

The members approved amongst other things a new cost-reduced fee schedule for the  marketing services the GTB provides for its Premium Partners.  This was made possible as a result of the increasing number of training participants in 2010/2011. In addition to this, a new working party was set up, which will as of now be in charge of the cooperation between the GTB and the Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB). The working party has the objective to install and develop the Certified Tester Foundation Level at universities in Malaysia. The next GTB general meeting is provisionally planned to take place in  September 2011.
