Refund of examination fees for students and
vocational school students

The GTB e.V. has extended its sponsorship for the refund of examination fees from BAföG recipients to generally include students and vocational school students, whilst the special sponsorship of BAföG recipients continues as before.

The GTB allocates a budget for this every year, which is normally sufficient to cover all applications of one year. This, however, cannot be guaranteed.

The refund of costs through the GTB for the first CTFL exam taken by students and vocational school students is made on application by the student or vocational school student in accordance with the following refund chart:  

This chart does not apply to a refund of costs for repeated examinations.

For the refund of examination fees, the GTB provides an application form via its website (application form). The application must be received by the GTB e.V. within six months from the date of the exam.

Refundable are examinations obtained from certification authorities that are partners of the GTB e.V.
